Learning through joyful exploration
At our Nursery in Trichy, toddlers engage in thoughtfully designed play experiences – from sensory trays, music and movement to building blocks, art and imaginative play. These activities invite children to explore their surroundings, spark creativity and nurture curiosity, laying the foundations for a lifelong love of learning.
Building early voices and confidence
Storytelling, rhymes, songs, picture talks and circle time conversations create a rich language environment. Children expand their vocabulary, sharpen listening and speaking skills and gain confidence expressing their thoughts and ideas in a warm, interactive setting.
Strengthening small muscles for big milestones
Colouring, clay play, puzzles, threading, tearing and pasting and simple craft activities help toddlers develop hand-eye coordination and control. These fine motor experiences build the muscle strength and precision needed for early writing skills and everyday independence.
Growing strong, active and coordinated
Through running, jumping, balancing, climbing and guided movement sessions in safe indoor and outdoor spaces, toddlers build strength, coordination and balance. This active play supports healthy physical development and helps children feel confident in how they move and use their bodies.

Our youngest students begin their journey in a learner-centric, holistic environment where life competencies are nurtured alongside academics, helping them grow in confidence and character. At TIPS School in Trichy, education goes beyond textbooks to develop essential life skills such as social, communication and language competencies, with a clear focus on interaction, expression and confidence-building.
From the earliest years, learning is rooted in a multi-curriculum, child-centred and play-based approach, aligned with ISP’s Life Skills and global frameworks, so that students start to think critically, relate sensitively to others and take responsibility for themselves as they grow into confident, compassionate global citizens.
At our Nursery in Trichy, early multilingual development is nurtured by integrating English and Tamil into the daily routine from 9.45am to 12.30pm. A biliteracy approach is used, with English as the primary language and Tamil woven naturally through the day.
Rhymes and songs are always in English to build phonetic awareness and vocabulary, while storytelling and puppet shows are sometimes in Tamil to support listening comprehension and cultural connection. During instruction and play, including pretend play and PE, teachers use mainly English with Tamil integrated in context, supporting phonetic skills, cognitive growth and a strong local identity as children move confidently between both languages.
It’s a joy to guide toddlers as they learn, grow and find their voice in a caring and supportive environment.
